Do I hear YAY?

Since I was in grade 4 it has been my dream to be a published author. Today I received confirmation from Chicken Soup for the Soul that a story I submitted for their Christmas, Canadian edition, has been accepted. Unlike something I sent in a long time ago I receive a small fee instead of having to buy a subscription to get a copy of the story. I also receive ten copies of the book and will be gifting 9 of them to some of my peeps (not the ones driving me crazy outside my window).

It has been a rough few days with health issues popping up so this was the boost that I needed! Most of you don't know the birth certificate name and are in the US so won't be able to access it but I just wanted to share my good news! Rootbeer
