you are dealing with loss in so many ways

your t is right, it is understandable that you feel abandoned - he is going away (even if it is temporary) right at the time when you are feeling stressed about your friend and about school. we always say t's have some sort of radar to plan being away right when things are difficult for us... a little silly, paranoid and narcissistic, but that's how it always seems.

it seems trite to say that you are not alone here... we are here to sit with you if you would like, and to silently give you encouragement that you can make it. we'll sit with you one hour at a time, or one minute at a time.
