I have had periods of fitness off an on for years that were always disrupted by...life. A few months ago I was diagnosed with high BP. Not ready for a stroke high but as it was my mother's biggest issue it concerned me. That and the fact that I puffed up like a balloon. I had already been walking or tread milling in our little gym but I revved it up. Last night I think I was gone for two hours and found a really cool historical area of the city - old area - that I had never seen. And then there was the stairs. These stairs are a lot meaner than they look and a lot of sports teams use them for training. hey run. I walk. Before Celiac took me down I could do 3 sets and was working toward a 4th when I turned inside out. Last night I did one. Slowly and with a few millisecond stops going up I did one set. One is better than none. It felt good! PLUS, checked my BP after all of this and it was 93/86 pulse 86. I'm back!

And! I am not my mother's daughter. She just gave up and sat in her rocker.
