Dumping therapist

Thanks everyone for your suggestions and support. I found a new therapist roughly an hours drive from my home. We had a nice conversation and she seems to have experience treating DID and red dot victims. It is imperative that his therapist understand and believe that DID is real and that sadly red dot groups exist. Otherwise it causes my son further trauma. She suggested we meet first (which I applaud) so that I can provide background info and so that we can come up with a treatment plan together. She also does art therapy which I feel my son would benefit from. I will meet with her later in the week. While she doesn't accept my insurance she does charge a reasonable rate that I can afford. She is not money hungry like a former therapist we had.
I am hoping she will be an appropriate fit for him. We could use a boost in moral about now. Time will tell.
