my hope is to do what is called phenomenological research on the lived experience of dissociation... it would involve interviewing those with DID etc. and getting a sense of what life is like for them. i would be very clear that the purpose of the interview is NOT to ask how they became multi, or to delve into their trauma, but rather to find out how they manage life, work, etc.

does that make sense?
