Overwhelming - might be MT

At new years I impulsively sent happy new years messages to 2 sisters. Heard nothing and shrugged it off. Today she wrote. Guess she doesn't live on the computer like me.

Was not a pleasant conversation but not for the expected reasons. She has lung C. Started smoking in grade 4 and quit 3 years ago. Too late or maybe it will help her fight. They say the younger you are when you start smoking the more likely you are to get cancer. Most of my siblings who started, started young.
