May Trigger-Talk of death - Tangled Web - 01-04-2015
On new year's eve at 1415 we lost someone very dear to us. In all of the years we have been working in the health care field-I can honestly say that we have never experienced this intense feeling of loss before. It effected us to the degree we were unable to function at work.
I am not accustomed to feeling such strong emotions and no matter how hard I tried to control it-I couldn't. The sadness knock me so hard on my *ss I couldn't get back up and the tears just fell.
It still impacts me today.......I am not sure if any of you remember the post I made regarding us taking a very special lady to Niagara falls as her last wish before she died last summer--this is who we lost after a very brave and courageous fight that she just couldn't win.
It hurts so much

so sorry for your loss. it's good to feel a big loss, even if it's uncomfortable. maybe your body is letting you feel because you can handle it.

Very sorry T Web. Yes we form a different connection with some clients than others. It is normal. She was fortunate that she had you to have that conversation with. I have found that quite often non-family losses hit harder than FOO> Go easy on yourself. @--------->-

Thank you everyone.
Today was her memorial service and they wanted to have it at our work so that is where it was held. It has been a very hard emotional day. Glad to be home.
