holiday blues
finally put up the tree. daughter and her kids decorated it. they did a good job.

feeling kind of down about the holiday this year. don't think we're getting much in the way of gifts. the littles are very depressed about it.

hubby asks every year what do i want for christmas. and every year it takes the fun out of it... if i tell him then i know what i'm getting already.

sigh.

i should be grateful for what i have instead of being sad for what i didn't and don't get.

RE: holiday blues
What if you made hubby a giant list and then at the bottom wrote 'surprises' 15 times. Or maybe he could take your daughter shopping with him. You could make cookies with her kids which your kids would enjoy too. A win/win.
