Very Sad. death issues

I am very sad today. My dog, my best buddy that lived with us for 15 years died on tuesday. miss him very much. have to go back to work tomorrow. really bad timing. there is never a good time to lose someone you love. just missing my boy.

We know people who have already gone through this and I think the older of our 2 kitties is on her 9th life. Let yourself grieve. Don't let people say stupid things like "He is just a dog" or "are you going to get another one right away? These people don't understand your bond with your dog.

Our cats did more for us than any human being. She brought Two forward who is the centre of our world, stayed the child I was once upon a time but with oh so much wisdom. They love us even on our bad days. We can tell them things people don't get and two spends evenings in the "family bed" telling made up stories to them about the bed being a raft or whatever comes into her head.

I am sure that you could Google and find information on dealing with the loss of a pet. And hopefully you have coworkers who have pets and understand what the loss means. Not just because you are multiple but because you are a person who loved your wonderful, loyal pet. I wish you well.
