Needing alone time - The People - 01-24-2020
After complaining about friends not having time for me, I woke up after a 2-week people binge and a 20-day old leg injury that still isn't healed. Fed the cat a late breakfast and went back to sleep. Got up again, canceling any plans, turned off my phone and turned on my TV.
As I grow older I have more days where I need alone time. Strange because I was just complaining about friends who never have time for me. But I AM tired and in no mood for chats. If people are offended I cannot help that. I need recovery time.
