feel like you have more in common with someone who has Asperger's (now called on the autism spectrum) than with regular monominds?

Years ago I mentioned this to my first real T. She commented about the difference. Theirs is neurological while ours is induced by a bunch of f*ck*ng bastards. No an exact quote.

?we ourselves are neuro-diverse, Dyslexic. We work we children with ASD (autism spectrum disorder). It is interesting to us that you mention this, because a co-worker and I were discussing the similarities between ASD and PTSD sufferers not to long ago.

I think we can feel like we identify with people who have aspergers is in part because ASD and DID are both on the fringes of society and both are greatly misunderstood. I personally like their logical thought process and level of honesty and their integrity.
