Different ways of coping - The People - 12-13-2018 I reconnected with my sister 1 1/2 years ago. Since we stopped talking she has decided that she doesn't want to talk about the past anymore. I have found it hard. Sometimes I feel angry when she reminds me that she doesn't want to discuss the past. It makes me not want to talk to her. She is the only one who confirmed the past and now she has blocked it. I spoke with my T about it today. She reminded me that everyone copes with the past in their own way. So, while I still feel frustrated I understand more. I sent her a note and told her that I would try harder to talk of other things. She told me years ago that she has 7 alters but while I recognize them, she has blocked them in again. So she is coping and not living. RE: Different ways of coping - mosaic - 12-15-2018 that is sad.
