A twist on a slogan - The People - 11-10-2018 We have always hated the term 'everything happens for a reason.' It makes it sound like the bad things happened to teach us a lesson which IMO is so stupid. Today we were doing a bit of reading. And the writer used that term. She said "Everything happens for a reason. But the reason doesn't always have anything to do with us." So... we were hurt. The reason that it happened had to do with other peoples issues. I like that much better. RE: A twist on a slogan - mosaic - 11-10-2018 Hear, hear! I like that better too! RE: A twist on a slogan - Tangled Web - 11-18-2018 I second that!!
