I am taking a break - The People - 08-17-2018
from my writing. Just for now. Not for a lifetime. I just love it when my thoughts roll out of my head and onto a page. Everyone tells me that I am good. That I have potential. Well except for my mother. And she was just being harshly honest as I never wrote things on demand that turned out well.
Writing has been my dream since grade 4. U+I shoved it away quite often but since I stopped working I have poured my heart into it. Then I stop and think. Then I go at it again. I am so happy that I always keep going!

a sabbatical is a good way to allow yourself to recharge before starting up again. it sounds like good self care to me.

It didn't last long. The injuries from my fall kept bringing up a specific memory and the only way to push it back was to write about it. Besides, it is so smoky here that going out is bleck. I am tired of TV and tired of Facebook as everything is about the crap he who shall not be named is getting away with.
