my kitty died last night. she said good night to me in her usual way, purring and having me pet her. when i got up this morning she was gone. she was almost 15 years old. i miss her

I am so sorry Mosaic. Such a shock for you. It is such a hard loss. Our pets are our family but we most always outlive them. Take the time you need to mourn. There is no right amount. I still miss my older cats and my friends' dog who I had grown fond of when I met him. They know us like no human does. Very sorry @---------->-

thank you, people. it's hardest first thing in the morning and when i go to bed at night. we had our little routines for those times and it was so special.

At least you had that special time.Kitty probably knew it was the last one. You can hold that in your heart forever.

hi mosaic I know how you must feel about your cat ..my neighbor who I was friends with had a nice calico cat he lived on first fl I lived on third fl and I visited often and I built a bond with the cat ,and even though the cat wasn't mine I came close to it and it bonded with me .it would greet me by sitting on my lap ..and cuddling with me .when I came to visit he would come running when he heard my voice ...I too was sad when it passed on that I would never see him again ..so I know your pain and sense your sadness.. just peachy
