still staying with friends - The People - 10-18-2016
there is quiet pressure for me to find a place. At mental health housing I am at the top of the list because I need my own place. But how many of us move once we find a safe place to live? The city low income housing prgm takes 10 weeks just to process forms. It has only been a few weeks.
My credit rating has dropped significantly in the last few years. Partly because I did a few stupid things and partly because of my debt load.
I like being here with the friends and the dogs. I sleep well most nights w/o needing a TV and I have the dogs and cat for company. bu they have family visiting and with 3 kids in college they finally get some time alone. I help around the house and the wife and I have a better rapport than we ever have. But some days I just need space that is mine. I haven't been writing or anything.

it is really hard to live in someone else's place and to not have space that is your own. it is very frustrating the bureaucracy moves at such a glacial pace.
I hope something opens up for you soon.
