I just watch the men's syncro diving. One member of the winning team had a coma 10 years ago. And today he walked away with GOLD.
This is us. All of us multiples. We lost so much of our lives. But we can still go for gold in our respective games! I shall never be a diver but I can move toward gold in other aspects of my life.

Absolutely. Accepting our history and our limitations is important, and it doesn't mean we can't live.

yes, true. accepting ourselves, the good and bad, helps us go for our own gold medal achievements.

Exactly! I have been enjoying the Olympics. Some had lots of family support while others were raised by grandparents because Mom disappeared. That isn't always a bad thing but it would impact for better or for worse.
