T suggested we not watch it. In the book there isn't much SA> Just the aftermath and we just glaze over that part. But we loved the book. There was just something about it. Their coming out of the room reminded us of coming out of the castle. There are differences yes but we had so much to learn just like the little boy It is on Shaw rentals right now. Really cannot decide whether to watch it.
If it triggers us Two will never let us hear the end of it. "Pdoc said not to watch it and you didn't listen!"

the book was excellent. we're planning to watch but not sure when. will let you know if you're still debating once we've seen it.

Thanks Nats. And yes still debating. If it is upsetting and triggering we will never hear the end of it fro Two. She will remind us forever that PDoc suggested that we not watch it.

Good to know. Things that some people figure will bother us doesn't although we cannot watch shows like criminal minds as they are just too dark.

we watched it - they did a very good job. not as good as the book, but still very good. we were sad but not overly triggered. trust yourselves.

We were mostly fascinated with the child's journey. There was something about it that reminded us of littles discovering the world outside the PU home.
