Someone keeps calling me from NY. They don't leave a message. I texted them and told them I am in Canada so please stop calling as I have a cell phone and it is costing me money. Tried to do a reverse look up but it would cost me $$$ to find out who is the idiot who keeps calling. I don't know anybody there. Must be a business as they call in the middle of the day. MD is that you? Wanna call the number and tell them to cut it out?

My voice mail would pick it up which would qualify as an answer. But they don't leave a message. Just keep calling me back. Sent a text to landline msg telling them to stop calling which will also probably cost. And then I blocked them.

annoying (that's why email is best!). blocking seems the best response in that scenario.

There's an elderly woman who we don't know who occasionally leaves messages on our cell, thinking that she's called her granddaughter. It's a PITA, but there's not much we can do about it. We hear your frustration, though.
