pre 'sick' weirdness - The People - 01-23-2015

2 days ago we had a severe allergic reaction to toxins. They were fixing the tub in the bathroom and I think it may have been the heavy duty stuff they used on tub. We got a hive on the face and red blotches on body.

Yesterday we went to doctor for refills. Out of one inhaler for asthma. We were acting really weird. Think we were switching. Ever do rapid switching and don't realize it until after the fact? We were weird.

Last night we got really emotional. Panic that computer was going to crash (probably will soon) and we were just a mess over nothing else. Well lots of coughing. Kids don't like to be sick. Crying and everything. Today we are sick. Not majorly so but chest and voice. Leaves head feeling like there is a lead plate in there.

Do other people go crazy when they are sick? Well not crazy but difficulty coping or focusing?

We do! Focusing and coping in almost non existent when we are sick. Those are the times when we are at our weakest, when we are really sick. It is difficult. It becomes difficult to control triggers and feelings for us and things hit us with no warning at all. Kinda liked being kicked over and over again while you are down.........That is how it feels for us.
Sorry you are sick and going through this. Hope you feel better soon.

We are feeling better thanks Still some coughing but not too bad. And I am glad it is not just me who gets wobbly with illness.

Yeah, and menopause has amped this up to the nth degree. We're hoping that 2015 will put an end to the worst of it.

Glad that you're feeling better.
