My kitty - The People - 01-13-2015
In the late summer I said goodbye to my black kitty. My grey one, my baby, is showing strong symptoms of diabetes. It can be treated with insulin but she is 15.5 and has never done well with treatments. Just getting her into her carrier to bring her to the vet will be h*ll. She hurt her leg last summer and she got into such a snit they couldn't examine it. So based on her age and her behaviour I shall probably be coming home without her. My heart breaks.
Two is beyond despondent as Inukshuk is her baby.

She's OK! She was allergic to her treats! We will watch her but didn't take her into the vet as she gets too stressed. My heart was breaking! We will have to watch her but 24 hours with no problems. Vet understood us not wanting to take her in as she gets so stressed.

Hi The People.
Glad to hear your kitty is doing better. Just wondering if your vet can make a house call in a case like this. My vet used to have a mobile van and come to your home in plain clothes (no white coat) so pets who got overly stressed out could receive care in the comfort of their home. My elderly German Shepard appreciated this greatly. Hope this is a possibility for your cat.

Love that pic you posted. Makes me want to cry for missing my own four furry purry friends who passed in the past decade or so--2003, 2006, 2009 for the gray siblings, then 2011 for our little black rescued kitty. I slept better with them around.
Glad your kitty's present issue had a happy resolution.
