Advertising - The People - 06-13-2014
First of all I wanted to end kudos to whoever came up with the advertising. I assume that this goes toward funding the site.
Second, I am going through a site that has various subtopics and came across this support site. I didn't explore it but i wondered if perhaps a techie could figure out if it is a place to advertise MM. Just a thought. Thanks to all for your hard work.

There are posted ads like the one by 'keep now' all over the site. I have seen some on every page. Another is by 'ad options'. My computer?
And I cannot find the admin page.

They aren't pages. They are banners. I think my computer has a virus I cannot get to. I was confused because some of these wold never be appropriate for this site. Need to figure this out. Back to the tech friend I guess.

Hey the ads are gone. I must have turned something on by mistake. I clicked on the edge of one of them and closed it. Whew! Thought I was losing what little I have left.
A thought has come to mind however and perhaps you could take it to admin. While I am sure all who use the services here value them many of us are not working and income is tied up on foolish things like rent and groceries. What about the idea of approaching a few, carefully selected groups and see if they would sponsor the site. I know there are some drug companies that sponsor things here although people may not want to go that route. But there may be other organizations that would be willing to drop a buck or two on us. Places like the American version of Canadian Mental Health and places like that. Just a thought. I know self sufficiency has always been our practice but perhaps there is a way to work on it from a different angle. Some people might be reluctant to share their birth names but I could do that. The issue is hat I am Canadian and the site is American based but... think about it.

Yeh. There are no ads on the site. If you see them you have some kinda malware on your computer.
