We decided to submit a story to Chicken Soup for the Soul; Christmas edition. We taught in a Metis colony one year and the Christmas we had still warms my heart. It was my best Christmas ever. A friend who is treaty First Nations agreed to check it for cultural anomalies. Turned out she used to work for a company where she had a lot of experience with proofing.
I am so excited and really hope that I get accepted. However, I learned so much from the editing and editing and editing....
