Teenage part not able to trust T - canucklady1971 - 10-22-2013 hello, so I have a teenage part that refuses to trust T and seems to be blocking anyone else from speaking to her how do i deal with trust issues i am trying hard to "listen inside" , but it is so hard RE: Teenage part not able to trust T - Tangled Web - 10-22-2013 I wish I had an answer to that question..........We struggle with this also. I have been told "it takes time". Sometimes it is the small things that helps things change. It is VERY hard ![]() RE: Teenage part not able to trust T - Reilly - 10-22-2013 Can definitely relate. One of my son's teenage parts seems to be controlling all inside and is not allowing others to attend therapy. Until he can trust and permit others to share little progress can be made. It can be frustrating. I do believe it will work out however. He just needs time. RE: Teenage part not able to trust T - MakersDozn - 10-27-2013 We have a similar problem, but it's not with a teen. In our case, the rest of us just keep plugging away at whatever we can do. It's frustrating. MDs |
